Day Inn Hotel

Book

From: USD 27.00

Laos is a beautiful country. This first impression was made possible by the all important stay in a comfortable hotel. This place we were able pick n book thanks to online booking. Looking fwd to our next visit Vasu- 27/07/2008, Mr. Vasudeva Rao

The hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful and obliging. When we asked if they could help us buy coach tickets, we assumed they would simply call the bus station. Later we discovered that one staff member had physically gone all the way to the station to buy them for us! They were also most helpful about arranging tuk tuks for us.- 16/06/2007, Ms. Mei Feng Mok

Hotel Beau Rivage Mekong

Book

Location: Riverside

From: USD 34.00

Very good hotel, clean and in good position on the Mekong. The best value money hotel of my 1 month trip.- 15/08/2008, Mr. Igor De Ruitz

Too bad the hotel is on a dirt road. Very messy area overall. The hotel stands out as an oasis of charm in an otherwise desert of dirt.- 09/03/2008, Mr. Robert Carrelli

Tai Pan Hotel was not at the airport to pick us up on arrival. Since your office made a double booking we were picked up by another hotel wich showed my name Gertrudis Smits. They charges us fot usd 10.!- 05/02/2007, Ms. Gertrudis Smits

Vayakorn Guesthouse

Book

Location: Town Centre

From: USD 18.00

The hotel is situated in a nice area. it's close to the river, some beautiful temple and a lot of restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. Recommendable!!!- 13/03/2008, Mrs. Kristin Jahn

The hotel was fine - just what I needed when I arrived in the evening time. However, the website makes you pay in advance - I had booked and prepaid for a $22 dollar room but when I checked in I was given a much smaller $15 room. I got annoyed with the hotel staff for which I subsequently apologised several times as it was not their fault...the website people had only reserved a $15 room even though they had taken payment of $22. I emailed the website that evening and by the time I got to reception the next morning they had resolved my problem and moved me. It left me a little bitter about the experience and I will not use the service again.- 03/03/2008, Ms. Jane Conroy

Villa Sisavad Guesthouse

Book

Location: Town Centre

From: USD 15.00

Villa Sisavad is a good place to stay while you visit viantiane, the only minus point would be, it is slightly away from the City center and many of the tourist attraction areas. They have a wonderful swimming pool, great to unwind after a bz day of moving about. - 16/05/2008, Mr. Thiruvarasu Muthusamy

We had a great stay at Villa Sisavad & will hopefully return one day. Good location & easy walking to most places. Everyone was very helpful & friendly.- 07/03/2008, Mr. Glen Hudson

Lani Guesthouse

Book

Location: Town Centre

From: USD 33.00

Very nice place to stay - French colonial style building in green surroundings. A little pricey. Rooms at the rear (the cheaper rooms) looked to be small so only worth the money if you stay in the more expensive front rooms.- 20/03/2008, Mr. Williams Ian

We arrived on Saturday. The desk person was considerably less fluent in English and less helpful than the people who we spoke with on the MOnday. The Monday/Tuesday reception was much more forthcoming and helpful. The single back room was not good value. It was airless and very pokey. As one of our party was unable to travel we did not use the room but both stayed in the spacious and charming front room. They filled the single room with another guest. I did not ask for, nor was offered, any refund for the unused room. It was all OK. Good location.- 10/03/2008, Ms. Deborah Corrigall

Anou Hotel

Book

Location: Town Centre

From: USD 35.00

Nice hotel ,nice room, good location , not far from both centre and river.Staff didn't speak great English but tried hard which was better than my attempt at speaking Lao. Housekeepers did laundry in less than 6 hours , porter always opened doors for us .Even had an employee dressed as Father Christmas giving out lollipops on Christmas Eve .- 02/01/2008, Mr. David Lester

Great hotel with very sweet staff, I recommend this Hotel any day.- 22/04/2007, Mr. david long

Inter Hotel

Book

Location: Riverside

From: USD 35.00

Right on the Mekong front, although our room was round the back and rather small (why no mirror in the room, only bathroom?)Rather strange hotel with more of a Chinese look (Chinese owner). The air-con in our room was not effecient and we needed the fan as well. They were not very good at keeping the breakfast food topped up, but the quality was fine. Overall, just about acceptable hotel, but there are better.- 20/04/2008, Mr. Ian Robson

The girl at the counter seemed a bit cold when i walked in.We didn't get pick up at the airport but she paid us back at the reception. the staff was a bit cold as well on the 2nd morning at breakfast but excellent service on the 3rd and 4th morning.the girls were very friendly.Breakfast is ok.They have the same things everyday!hahaha. The location of the hotel is excellent though.Quite away from the backpacker inns.- 19/03/2008, Mr. Teong Chee Yean

Saysouly Guesthouse

Book

From: USD 13.00

to get into our room, we have to pass by the shared toilets area which is not so decent feeling. the floor is normally wet and we always tried to walk as fast as possible to get over that area. The Room is consider clean but the toilet is not. it is quite run down and the hot water is either too hot or too cold, there is nothing in between. The Room is consider quite confortable with tv and fridge. The aircon sometimes make funny noises but still bearable. The location is consider good as its near to bars, restaurants, tuck shops, mekong river. And there is a bicycle rental shop right in front too. The monks will pass by the rest house at 5:30am to collect alms. The receptionists are friendly and speak good english. they are very helpful too as they tried to arrange us to the type of room we want. When i complained about the mosquitos in my room the moment i checked in, they sprayed some mosquito spray into my room when i left for dinner. when i got back to the room, there is no more mosquito thru the 2 nites i stayed there. - 06/05/2008, Ms. Loh Sheue Jiun

The guesthouse is close to everything, big rooms, neat and good. Friendly staff. No towels in the room though which I definately expect for that price. The price you get charged over internet is almost double for what they charge if you make the reservation directly with them or when you arrive.- 18/03/2008, Ms. Anna Berglund

Lane Xang Hotel

Book

Location: Riverside

From: USD 36.00

I got really sick and the management took me to the international clinic. They placed me on a stretcher in ED and I was treated by a doctor and nurses within 10 minutes. I am very greatful and wouldn't have made my flight to Bangkok that afternoon if it wasn't for the assistance of the management at the hotel. Please pass on my appreciation. - 26/07/2008, Mr. John Campbell

While the staff were most courteous and welcoming, unfortunately technology wise leaves a little more to be desired: 1. the internal phone system was down the whole of my 1 week stay there 2. The cable TV signal was grainy and CNN was down, only voice but the pictures do not appear for the last 3 days of my stay. 3. Due perhaps to the lack of lighting, place feels a little spooky at times.- 03/06/2008, Mr. Nailul Hafiz

B&P Hotel

Book

Location: Town Centre

From: USD 20.00

This hotel was very quiet. The first night I thought I was the only person staying there! The staff was helpful when I asked questions, but I didn't really have much interaction with them. The hotel is in a good location. A few streets over from the area with all the shops and restaurants, but far enough away that it isn't noisy. And breakfast is included!- 01/04/2008, Ms. Amy Sherman

I had an enjoyable stay at the B&P Hotel, the staff were very friendly & helpful, and my room was a good size and had a good bed. The only negative was that I came back on one of the days to sleep and a painter was outside on the balcony of my room touching up the door and windows. Otherwise breakfast is OK and overrall very good value place to stay.- 28/02/2008, Mr. Blake Wilson
